Happy Wednesday friends! Can you believe it’s already March?! Todays post is all about my favorite tunic dress from Free People! Now, for those of you who don’t know, Free People is by far one of my favorite brands of all time (like ever). They’re clothing is a perfect representation of what my personal style is: a little girly, at times edgy, patterns, lots of colors, and lots of basics. When I saw this dress last summer I knew I needed to get it. I had seen it on many people before and I was curious as to how it would look on me. I ended up loving this so much that I’ve bought it in another color, and will probably be getting another one as well.
This dress is so versatile and can be worn for so many different occasions. Do y’all ever feel like you need one item that you can wear all year round? Well, this dress is it! I’ve worn this during the winter, spring, summer and fall months and I’ve never been too hot or too cold. It’s been in the 70s here in Louisville, so this dress was perfect for a transition piece. I don’t know about y’all, but I definitely tend to dress more grunge during the fall/winter months and more girly during the spring/summer months (weird isn’t it?).
Free People also sells other brands within their store, which is where I was able to snag these Jeffrey Campbell booties (insert heart eyed emojis). I had my eye on these shoes for almost a year before I finally decided to pull the plug. For a long time, I just couldn’t justify the price, but after seeing how versatile these boots were, I couldn’t let them sit in the store. By these boots rarely going on sale, I knew that I was just going to have to bite the bullet and make the purchase. Since Free People is very boho/western it didn’t surprise me that these boots were being sold in their shop. The western bootie trend is going to be around for a while, and I know we’re going to see a lot of them this summer!
I hope y’all enjoyed this post! I’m trying to do more outfit posts because I know that’s what the majority would like to see. I have a few more shoots planned and I can’t wait to share them with y’all! Happy hump day, and I’ll see you in my next post!
